Forrest Beach Shiraz 2017

Talk about bang for buck coming out of Margaret river! This wine is comprised of mostly shiraz with a dash of cabernet for structure. Deep crimson in colour with notes of plum, vanilla, ground black pepper, kalamata olives and toastiness from the aging in oak before being bottled. The palate is powerful and rich, with velvety tannins so sumptuous, they'll have you running back for another bottle.

"The aromatics in this wine are a pleasant mix of all of the varieties in the blend. 'Fruit from the 2011 vintage was whole bunch pressed and barrel fermented in fine French oak using wild yeasts. Lees stirring during the nine month maturation period followed without any malolactic fermentation.
